My current work is on the topic of the grief, of loss while away at college. The goal of my work is to create a set of resources that college students can use to understand and cope with grief. These resources will include but are not limited to a poster series, a pamphlet, and a website. The main reason that this is the topic that I am exploring is that many college students face grief and must learn how to cope with that grief on their own. The isolation of being away from home and loved ones during the grieving process is difficult. My project is an exploration into how college students process grief and coping mechanisms that work well.
